Mud Buddies (Puppy Chow)

Microwave Cooking:

1. Pour cereals into large bowl set aside
2. In 1-quart microwave safe bowl combine peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butter or margarine. Cook on HIGH 1 to 1 ½ minutes or until smooth, stirring after 1 minute. Stir in vanilla
3. Pour chocolate mixture over cereals stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Pour cereal mixture into large resealable plastic bag with powdered sugar. Seal securely and shake until all pieces are well coated. (or use a clean ice cream pail)

Stove Top Cooking:

1. pour cereals into large bowl set aside
2. In small saucepan over low heat melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter until smooth, stirring often. Remove heat; stir in vanilla.
3. Pour chocolate mixture over cereals stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Pour cereal mixture into large resealable plastic bag with powered sugar. Seal securely and shake until all pieces are well coated.(or use a clean ice cream pail)
