About Us

My name is Payden Montonya, and I own Smalltown Connetchin.

I grew up on a farm in Conrath, Wisconsin, a rural area. My grandfather was influential in teaching me about hard work. My family lived in his farmhouse, which was situated on 150 acres of land. I attended Flambeau School in Tony, Wisconsin, where I took manufacturing and woodworking electives and learned to use a CO2 laser engraver. After graduating, I maintained an interest in starting my own business.

Business Development

I launched my small business with an initial investment in 2020. Shortly after becoming a dad! The beginning involved learning new technology, software, and business requirements while making custom products for friends and family. The customer base and knowledge expanded over time. In late 2024, my company transitioned from a sole proprietorship to an LLC to accommodate growth. The objective is to offer custom products based on client ideas and specifications.
